Should a demo save file carry on to the full game?

@CodeRed_dev If it's a 30 minute demo there's no need for it. And who knows, your game might need to be updated/patched later and that demo save wont be compatible anymore with the new build, so you will have to update the demo too.

@CodeRed_dev One time I played the Miitopia demo for hours and hours and when I finally saved up to buy the full game I felt so overpowered, it was a core memory moment. So in that case, I’m happy the save file carried over.

@CodeRed_dev Yes if the demo is just the first portion of the full game. Even then, it's not a huge deal to me if the save doesn't carry over.

@CodeRed_dev Certainly enjoy it if the demo is just the start of the game with access to content so you can get a feel for it. But I have never felt it necessary, just nice

@CodeRed_dev If the demo is basically the first 30 minutes of the game yes,but if it's just a vertical slice with some late game content of course you can't keep the save.

@CodeRed_dev I appreciate when they do, but barely ever use that. When I buy the full game, I like to play it as new. Bonsues for carrying over from a demo are nice, but I feel like that then forces me to cary on from the demo.
