I took some photos of the Andromeda galaxy tonight. It still blows my mind to look up at this, just visible to the naked eye, fuzzy blob and realize that I'm seeing something that is two and a half million light years away.

@CodysLab I just like that we have a picture of it from 132 years ago (taken by Isaac Roberts in 1889) back then when this was taken they thought it was a Nebula if I remember correctly

@CodysLab Im in a very light polluted city so using a camera with a long exposure was the only way to see it.

@CodysLab Even with the mediocre telescope I grabbed off someone's verge bulk rubbish (and 3D printed adapters for the eye pieces I got off amazon; I get awed just seeing a blurry smudge of Jupiter.
