@DiscussingFilm I didn’t tweet immediately after watching it. I needed silence first. That pause told me everything

@DiscussingFilm One Battle After Another was great, but there is no planet in which it is better than Sinners.

@DiscussingFilm paul thomas anderson finally getting his flowers at a major televised ceremony feels like a fever dream honestly one battle after another is a masterpiece

@DiscussingFilm Sinners got 4 wins including Director + Screenplay + Ensemble + Score... and still lost Picture to PTA's mid life crisis action movie? Critics really said 'we love Black stories... just not THAT much' Who's actually mad about this?
English

@DiscussingFilm I’ve tried watching this movie and have turned it off every time and this is not hate but it’s soooooooooo boring
English

@DiscussingFilm “Sinners” was literally better..
English

@DiscussingFilm Well deserved.
It's in my top 10 favorite Movies of 2025.
Can't wait for PTA's Next film
That probably won't be announced until after the Oscars or something.

@DiscussingFilm I saw this movie yesterday and I wanted to love it so much, but the story, not the script or the acting, was all over the place to me. It kept shifting tones and ideas too quickly for me to keep it all together. And the score was pissing me off. Solid 7-7.5/10, but I wanted more

@DiscussingFilm I think I will skip the oscars for the first time in decades this year.
English

@DiscussingFilm Honestly, glad to see a gritty film get the recognition it deserves.
