Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur has defended the team's strategy calls in the Monaco Grand Prix after Carlos Sainz voiced his frustrations. This is one of the very rare cases where the team, though criticized, did not make a mistake. They had to protect the position or Hamilton would have passed. Then, given the situation at this time, it is understandable that Sainz does not trust blindly but this time his anger is unjustified.

@FastestPitStop I’m a Ferrari fan but Ferrari started from positions 4, 6 and ended up at 6, 8. Factually, the Monaco GP was a failure for Ferrari and I’d prefer if the team acknowledged it and learn from it.
