@Artemisfornow @barryduffield @Artemisfornow why are you missing the deposit off between £5545 and £6545 then their full motobility component of £80 a week meaning it costs the user between £18,000 & £19,000 ?
English

@GitGrumpygit @Artemisfornow @barryduffield Around 8mths ago the advanced payment (deposit) was starting at a very low £295..
Guess what, they shifted loads of them.
English

@GitGrumpygit @Artemisfornow @barryduffield So you mean they already had enough money not to need to claim the benefit in the first place?
English

@GitGrumpygit @Artemisfornow @barryduffield And not forgetting they don’t keep the car at the end of the lease
English

@GitGrumpygit @Artemisfornow @barryduffield If they can afford the deposit, they are clearly getting too much in benefits. The £80 a week comes from taxpayers, so it's only costing the Motability user £6545, not £19,000.
English

@GitGrumpygit @Artemisfornow @barryduffield Exactly, motobility is a support mechanism that is great for working people. Adaptions are £3k minimum, insurance is increase and the vehicle drops a significant amount in value on the adaption and damage is done. You’re essentially £10k down before you even driven the thing.
English

@GitGrumpygit @Artemisfornow @barryduffield How much would that car cost monthly to a person that is not on PIP? I can guarantee you it would not be £320/month
