Has @SHAQ forgotten that LeBron has played over half of his career in an era where the game was still “physical”? You retired in 2011. LeBron was in Year 8 by that time. Kobe retired in 2016. LeBron was in Year 13 at that point with 3 championships, 6 Finals Appearances, and 4 MVPs. His peak happened while ya’ll were still playing, so I guess you and Kobe played in a soft era, too? The 90s really wasn't as physical as my fellow old heads make it out to be. Trust me Young fans. There were only a few really physical teams like the Knicks, Pacers and Heat and that was it. They had players like Oakley, the Davis Brothers, Alonzo on Miami, etc...they were physical, but the physical basketball was actually terrible. Even then I didn't want to see football during a basketball game. It was ugly basketball . Look up the Knicks vs Heat in the 90s. Those were low scoring, bad games where all they did was fight. When Iverson, Mcgrady, Vince and LeBron and others came it was breath of fresh air. They were different. Watching Charles Barkley on the Rockets back somebody down for 10 seconds in the post then shoot was absolutely terrible. We needed change. The point is do not believe all this the 90s was too physical bullshit. It was not
