Got to be honest with you, John. Your recent posts sharing populists and propagandists who make Israel out to be a singularly evil state has us bewildered. Take for example the one in which parliament debated, but chose not to, lower the age of consent. You shared a post calling that paedophilia. If you hate us, just say so. If you don't, then you might want to make clearer your desire to stand with Jews in general/Jews in Israel against those who see them as uniquely evil - even as you call out racism and injustice wherever they are, including in Israel. Continuing as you are currently doing is very similar how many actual antisemites now frequently behave - coyly "just asking questions" and baiting Jews under the guise of criticising Israel. Israelis and Jews around the world are smarting right now. Two years of war, coupled with a stratospheric rise in antisemitic incidents all over the globe have reminded many of us that we are not seen as equal, and our safety is not guaranteed. Even, tragically, in countries like the UK. I refuse to engage in the sour grapes-ism exhibited by others. Your humour is a treasure and I speak for countless Israelis when I say we would be delighted to have you in Israel - but only if you make clear that you are committed to bolstering out safety, not undermining it.
