I was honored to sign this letter, and speak unambiguously to the world that IAGS’s resolution does not reflect reality. Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza.

The number of signatures on the letter debunking the IAGS statement claiming Israel is committing genocide now stands at 424. That’s four times the number of anonymous signatories with unknown credentials on the IAGS resolution. Every one of these 424 have signed openly, under their real names. The list includes some true stars. Yet not a single major outlet outside Israel has reported it. This silence is precisely why so many people who only skim mainstream headlines believe “pretty much everyone agrees” there is genocide in Gaza. The misleading of the public is staggering. Huge thanks to @ElliotMalin for launching and seeing this through. We now know there is a strong scholarly and professional consensus that the genocide accusations against Israel don’t stand up to scrutiny.

This is not true at all. This is all coming from converts who use the cloak of Catholicism to attack Israel or promote antisemitism. I have been to church nearly every Sunday of my life and this never what’s being discussed. These converts using the Catholic identity is not reflective of the church.

In September 2017, NYC First Lady Rama Duwaji posted a photo to her Tumblr account of the Palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled. "If it does good for my cause, I'd be happy to accept death," the photo caption read. Khaled, a longtime member of the PFLP, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, participated in plane hijackings in 1969 and 1970. Between the two hijackings, she underwent several cosmetic surgery procedures to disguise her identity. In the 1970 hijacking, Khaled threatened to detonate a grenade unless the pilots let her into the cockpit. Today, she is revered by terrorists and their allies as the first woman to hijack a plane.
