So...what the heck happened last night with Sam's Club? A short story ⬇️ Sam's Club login system died leading up to the drop and during the drop itself, not only logging most people out but not allowing them to log back in. At 10:12pm cst they pulled stock completely. A lot of people think it sold out at this point, that is not the case at all. People absolutely DID get through prior to them deciding to pull the release. So boxes of both Ascended Heroes and Prismatic Evolutions were purchased during this short window. At 12:37am without announcing anything at all, Sam's Club decides to shock drop the remaining inventory of both boxes. Between the original release and the shock drop, they seemed to have fixed the login and payment processor issues. There was a lot of manual success if you just so happened to be up. That being said, it was still a disaster for anyone that went to sleep and gave up. Did you get lucky?

@PokeSignals What happened is… securing 1 drop from Sam’s pays for 2+ plus memberships, and the botters understand this. So there was countless bots + humans trying to log in at the same time. Effectively, this was an unintentional DDOS because of the ungodly amount of traffic.

No middleman means no markups. Add $0 delivery on your first order and 100s of deals, and staying on the couch starts to look financially responsible.

@PokeSignals I got lucky. I randomly refreshed and noticed the add cart was there. I added the 2 AH boxes and checked out. I got the discord notification literally right after. I caught the bots sleeping. My only fail is I forgot about the SPC. I probably could have got that too, oh well.

@PokeSignals Shit show by Sams club. It was a fucking joke. Basically everyone that actually has a morning job is fucked. Cant get store drop because morning shift. Cant get the online drop either because Sams club website sucks ass and decide to drop it while morning shift goes to sleep.

@PokeSignals You should mention that Sam’s changed the AH listing to say (Hang Tight) after the initial stock was removed. Many took that as communication from Sam’s that they would release stock again sometime soon after the message appeared. Fortunately for many they did exactly that.

@PokeSignals Try canceling your membership, I've been on the phone for literally hours and im on hold now with a synchrony bank rep because they keep sending me to them when they cant help. Sams Club customer service team is apparently.....dumb.

@PokeSignals Nope I was logged in right until it went live I wouldn't let me back in until after it was sold out at 1am I was watching people post on x they got through while I still had access denied and app issues. Yesterday can suck my ass in store drop waited for 3 hour's to miss it

@PokeSignals Tried at 10 until 11. Followed X for updates. Saw at 1am they dropped again....could not get logged in on any device. I am canceling today. Not worth the stress for false drops

@PokeSignals Also at 12:37/1:37 I noticed on Desktop browser it showed as OOS (at least for me) and some people said they could cart only through app. Super confusing.

@PokeSignals I was able to hit on the first wave, and once the tweets went out for second wave i messaged my friend and he was able to get his! We're so pumped!!

@PokeSignals No, drop was 2am est.. I stayed up until 1 and figured they'd just push back the drop after having issues. Bamboozled again by corporations

@PokeSignals I was able to finally log back in after the initial sold out drop . the second time I stayed signed in when it went up I just spammed add to cart and it worked easy when I’m not fighting all the bots

@PokeSignals Unfortunately was at work and couldn't do anything. 🫤. By the time i got home around 2am, there was another drop and missed it and found out on Twitter about it shortly after

@PokeSignals I was at the bar and got skunked. Angry and sober, I drive home after awhile. Pulled up to the house and on a whim, opened the app and was able to get two boxes. 😅

@PokeSignals I got the one item right away at drop time using my lists but site broke while trying to get prismatic. The drop later though did not seem to have that tho I think that item sold out right away.
