@PokeSignals I had to get up at 5am est, so I couldn't stay up 😭 staying up until midnight hurt enough. I had it in my cart when I got logged out! 😭😭😭

So...what the heck happened last night with Sam's Club? A short story ⬇️ Sam's Club login system died leading up to the drop and during the drop itself, not only logging most people out but not allowing them to log back in. At 10:12pm cst they pulled stock completely. A lot of people think it sold out at this point, that is not the case at all. People absolutely DID get through prior to them deciding to pull the release. So boxes of both Ascended Heroes and Prismatic Evolutions were purchased during this short window. At 12:37am without announcing anything at all, Sam's Club decides to shock drop the remaining inventory of both boxes. Between the original release and the shock drop, they seemed to have fixed the login and payment processor issues. There was a lot of manual success if you just so happened to be up. That being said, it was still a disaster for anyone that went to sleep and gave up. Did you get lucky?

@switchstock I just kept my phone on at work, checking the queue now and then until it finally hit 1 min 3 or 4 hours later (can't remember) and still managed to get everything. Scared me because of how often it reloaded or gave me an error though! Started with a wait time of 12 hrs lol

@PeakHobby Lol no, they need to hear it. Maybe not so much the employees who can't do anything, but Gamestop needs to be better. Right now they seriously suck. Never apologize for that.

I'd like to apologize to the Pokémon community for the GameStop April Fool's Joke fiasco yesterday. With GameStop doubling and tripling MSRP on Pokémon cards over the past year, I thought this was an obvious joke. I guess it was not. This led to a number of customer visits and calls to GameStop asking for MSRP Priced Pokemon cards. Horrified that GameStop employees actually had to hear live customer disappointment and feedback about how they are pricing their customers out. Must do better

A scalper running to beat another scalper to the vending machine (for the no-limit glitch) is beaten by another scalper, who is then moaned at by security for ignoring the fake "out of order" sign they put on it. Pokemon in 2026! 😆

@peakhobby Yeah, one of the reasons we haven't decided. My youngest son, my husband, and I just got into the tcg part, so we're doing a lot of research before we do decide. We mostly just play, but when we get expensive cards, it only makes sense to grade them. That upcharge is insane tho

@kamiyu910 Pay to play. PSA grades just worth more in the market IMO

It’s PSA then maybe CGC and then bust. Beckett numbers have tanked back down recently. SGC is dead. TAG barely a blip and although new, hasn’t really broken out among the bottom dwellers. Stick with PSA.
