@PythonPr r is fashionable and i don't trust anything that's fashionable. also r users give the worst impression, they have awful habits and care little about debugging etc, they love to borrow others code

@PythonPr The only reason you’re the one is because in the beginning, you were the easiest to teach to a machines. Everything has to look the same.. hey.. I use just two spaces for all my indentations. Sometime I use 4x.

@PythonPr Nobody even knows what R is. Pointless language that will die out eventually. Just like Ruby.

@PythonPr R is great for research. Python won because engineers actually had to ship things.

@PythonPr Cuando aprendes R, te das cuenta que es lo más práctico, fácil y sencillo y útil. Depende el fin. Si queres ir al parque con una bicicleta alcanza. Si queres ir a la luna, Python

@PythonPr R lost the ML race because the deep learning ecosystem standardized on Python early. Once PyTorch and TensorFlow shipped Python-native, R became a stats-and-viz language. The lesson is that ecosystem gravity beats language design every time.

@PythonPr Python dominates because of its massive ecosystem (25x more packages than R) and seamless integration with other software tools and cloud platforms. Modern ML workflows require "gluing" different technologies together, which is far easier to do with Python than with R.

@PythonPr When the objective shifts to causal inference, mediation analysis, or global mortality decomposition, the diagnostic tools provided by R packages like grf or MatchIt offer far more profound statistical insights than the 'black-box' models prevalent in Python.
