Working and service dogs have changed the lives of countless Americans. They are far more than companions — they provide protection, independence, healing, and hope. My constituent, Special Operator Jason Morgan, understands this firsthand. Under Sharia law, keeping dogs inside the home is considered unclean or impure. In some cases, this ideology has been used to justify neglect, abuse, and mistreatment. Radical Islamists in America have “joked” about getting rid of dogs in places like New York City, CONVENIENTLY under Mamdani’s mayoral leadership. Let me make one thing perfectly clear: the value of our dogs, as loyal companions and highly trained service animals, is not a joke. America is not the Middle East. We will not be subjected to principles or ideas congruent with Sharia. I fully support—and was proud to co-sponsor @RepFine’s Protecting Puppies from Sharia Act.

So just kill the jet black one.” (Tirmidhi, 1486) “Someone asked Abu Dharr, ‘What feature is there in a black dog which distinguishes it from the red dog and the yellow dog?’ He said: ‘O, son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah as you are asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil.’” (Muslim, 4:299).

Thank you! My parent’s dog was keeping my father comfort on his deathbed. He asked if she could go to heaven with him. My mother replied that she needed her to take care of her and one day they will all be together again in heaven. It’s been 7 years, since my dad has passed and my mother is turning 89 next month. She along with her dog are thriving as they have each other to depend on. God bless America and our dogs! ❤️🇺🇸

@RepKeithSelf Also, just because a dog doesn’t have an “official” status as service dog doesn’t mean it’s not a vital part to a person’s wellbeing on a deep level. This is Lucy making my 93-year old dad happy. He’s just gotten a cancer diagnosis and she gives him the joy that he needs now.

Anyone who neglects or abuses #dogs, must be reported, charged and imprisoned. Muslims should keep their “Haram” business to themselves. No one needs moral, cultural or religious guidance from them. @RepKeithSelf My niece has a service dog, that dog can sense her seizures before she even has them and she gets her through them. That dog also cost the same as a brand new car would have. It's ridiculous that we even have to have this conversation in America.
