After much delay, a UN aid convoy of 6 trucks finally entered the Bab al-Hawa crossing from Turkey into HTS-controlled Idlib, reportedly bringing only blankets, detergents, and baby diapers. twitter.com/RojavaIC/statu…

Locals working in the region say what is actually needed is food, medicine, & logistical support. Only 1 small external team (an Egyptian volunteer group) has arrived to assist in recovering trapped people. There is a huge lack of heavy equipment for search-and-rescue operations.

In Jindires town, Turkish-occupied Afrin region, local rescue teams have had to make do with pickaxes, shovels, and old cranes to try to lift concrete slabs. Meanwhile, there is a lack of food as most bakeries are non-functional.
