A father buys Halo: Campaign Evolved on the family PS5 with the intention of playing the advertised split screen co-op with his son. He immediately discovers upon booting the game that he needs to purchase a PS Plus subscription for not only himself, but also a second PS Plus subscription on a second account for his son so that they can play the campaign together side by side in the living room on the couch after purchasing a $50 game with no multiplayer. Read that again, let it sink in and then understand that this is all true and was posted on the official Halo website earlier today.

@lastchalice Youre remedial. That shit is on Sony. Youve been warned many times that Sony have the worst anti consumer ecosystem out there but instead you clowns love to ignore warnings and flock like sheep to brands. Next time do your research and consider it a hard lesson learned.

@Markis5150 @lastchalice So the fact that it needs to connect ir a Microsoft account doesn't hint that maybe it's not solely Sony here ?

@Baby_Face_Jones @Markis5150 @lastchalice And given they "clarified"(sounds more like a walk back) that no subscription is needed , just an account in general ... It sounds like this wasn't a Sony decision
