A father buys Halo: Campaign Evolved on the family PS5 with the intention of playing the advertised split screen co-op with his son. He immediately discovers upon booting the game that he needs to purchase a PS Plus subscription for not only himself, but also a second PS Plus subscription on a second account for his son so that they can play the campaign together side by side in the living room on the couch after purchasing a $50 game with no multiplayer. Read that again, let it sink in and then understand that this is all true and was posted on the official Halo website earlier today.

@Brandan62257218 @CrillColon @RodrigoCedill15 @Xbox_Series_XS You're assuming that most gamers are like yourself. Unfortunately most casual gamers only buy maybe one or two games per year, and Game Pass allows Xbox to charge them for more than those two games would cost.

@CrillColon @RodrigoCedill15 @Xbox_Series_XS I buy games on Xbox all the time. Hell game pass gives you discounts to games on it and I buy the ones I really enjoy. Exclusives are dying and rightfully so. Companies make more money going multiplat bringing their games to more ppl to enjoy.

Fine by me. Then return Game Pass Ultimate to $19.99 and allow Microsoft Rewards to redeem Game Pass codes, like we used to.
