Thoughts on the RIP rounds?

I'm hesitant with these "gimmick rounds". There's just such a small sample size when it comes to real world results vs simulated, whereas stuff like HST and GoldDot has pretty proven track records when it comes to expansion, weight retention and penetration. And as others alluded, the name RIP and the marketing behind them would not bode well in court if used in self defense.
