This advisory has come with reference to some news items appearing on social media reporting few people publicly posting their Aadhaar numbers on internet and social media and posing challenges to others.  2/n

@UIDAI But I thought that the aadhaar system was absolutely secure and as u had reiterated time and again, it was fool-proof. So where is the question of any mal-practices or mis-use??? Or was that all an eye-wash??

@UIDAI Ok, @UIDAI but what about the leeching of all the details related to aadhaar, this can even be more devastating if one clones mobile number, apply for duplicate PAN and thus obtain anyones sign, also while staying in hotel we hv to submit aadhaar compulsaryily, so is this right🙅

@UIDAI I gave my #Aadhaar to x y z. Now if x y or z leaks it, or their security is weak and some one hacks into their servers, who will be responsible

@UIDAI If publishing a no/id printed visibly on a card or paper which is not supposed to use inside a sealed room is dangerous, then that is definitely due to the poor design of the entire system related to it!
