UIDAI signed an agreement with IIIT-Hyderabad under first cohort of the SITAA (Scheme for Innovation and Technology Association with Aadhaar) program at the UIDAI Regional Office, Hyderabad, in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of UIDAI, senior officials from UIDAI, and representatives from IIIT-Hyderabad. As part of this collaboration, IIIT-Hyderabad will work towards strengthening AI-based face authentication system in the Aadhaar ecosystem. This involves research on advanced anti-spoofing technologies and the development of a large-scale benchmark dataset to strengthen biometric authentication security and improve resilience against manipulated authentication attempts.
