I feel like I got tricked by @screenstudio. When I tried to export my video recording, it suddenly asked me to pay. Why didn’t you tell me upfront?

I love @screenstudio but it crashes on me after about 1min each time. I kind of dig it as a feature because it forces me to re-record and make every video I record significantly tighter

LLMs remove social risk of asking specific, but awkward questions you really want to ask, but would never ask a real person. And then digging deeper and taking action I think it’s a great value it adds to society, potentially allowing some people to eg escape some bad situations they’d still be in otherwise

@heldrida @screenstudio Hi Helder! I just saw that my colleague replied to you via email. As you mentioned, you can either use this option or update your macOS to version 15 or later. Both will work.

@screenstudio exporting a recorded video with 1.2x, 1.8x speed edits. The audio is fine in the timeline, but not when exported. The final audio sounds robotic. Tested exporting studio, compressed web, etc., and updated to the latest, same issue! Spec: macOS 13.7.8, screen studio v3.6.0-4214. Switched from output audient id14, macbook default speakers, etc same issue. How to save the recording preventing the audio compression failure?

i've been trying to export a 1h long video for a day from @screenstudio & ive been on a loop of going from waiting 30 minutes for it to finish exporting, to getting an error at the end right before it finishes exporting

Hey! We don't have an option, and it's the first time that someone has brought that to our attention. I'll consider that. Regarding the screenshot, did you know that you can right-click on the preview and select the option "Copy current frame as image" (or use the shortcut)? It might be useful in your workflow.
