@Timcast Most pokemon local tournaments don't do cash prizing, in fact pokemon provides prize packs and playmats. Major events do give cash prizes, but my entry fee is not money wagered. I get a promo and playmat with my entry. A lot more skill is needed in pokemon compared to gambling.

That’s awesome. You have every right to completely dismiss the art and only focus on playability. But it’s a weird thing to get upset about when other people appreciate the art and don’t care about playability. I play the TCG lightly, not super competitive. But I am more of an art collector. It doesn’t make sense to me when a grown man gets offended by fan made cards that focus on the art rather than playability. Enjoy the hobby how you like; but let’s not try and force others to enjoy it YOUR way.
