ngl this whole “inauthentic content” system on YouTube is genuinely confusing 😭💀 my channel gets demonetized but nobody can clearly explain WHAT exactly is wrong no specific videos no detailed feedback just: “inauthentic content” and somehow i’m supposed to magically fix it 😭🙏 like bro how does that even work imagine your teacher fails your exam but refuses to tell you: which answers were wrong what chapter you failed what to improve then says: “good luck in 90 days” 😭💀 and what makes this even crazier is seeing other creators in similar situations suddenly get proper reviews after their posts blow up on X so now i’m sitting here wondering: do creators only get actual human reviews if the situation becomes bad PR for YouTube? 😭 because that’s honestly what it feels like sometimes and before people say: “maybe your content was stolen” bro if that was true i wouldn’t even be talking 😭 my issue is that the label is SO broad that creators are left guessing what the real problem even is the weirdest part? ads can STILL run on your videos while you’re demonetized 💀 so the content is: “inauthentic” when the creator gets paid 😡 but suddenly: “good enough for ads” when YouTube gets paid 😭🙏 make it make sense bro and nah i’m not saying youtube is evil or whatever but the system seriously needs: more transparency actual examples better communication clearer feedback because creators shouldn’t have to spend MONTHS guessing what they did wrong 😭 especially with the 90 day reapply thing because imagine changing your whole channel… and then finding out the REAL issue was something completely different the whole time 💀 that’s the part people don’t understand creators aren’t asking for special treatment most of us just want: actual clarity 😭 @TeamYouTube

The Inauthentic Content policy was introduced in July 2025. YT told creators to stay calm & there'd be "no changes". 9 months later, mass demonetization happened. They could've warned targeted creators that they needed to change in 9 months, but no. They said "calm, no changes".

YouTube, if there was ONE thing you could fix for streamers, it would be to let us separate music tracks from VODs like Twitch does. We could stream whatever we want live without stressing about copyright claims hitting months or YEARS later. Even on stuff that shouldn’t qualify for copyrights. It’s incredibly frustrating and kills momentum. I have spent TOO much time this morning battling claims that are coming up THREE YEARS after the actual live stream. I film and edit the videos myself, and producing the content takes a long time and a great deal of effort. I would ask you to re-enable monetisation for my channel
