@b00_plus That and fighting a level 15 fighter with vampiric regeneration as a party of level 8s was... harrowing on a first try. Now I routinely 1v1 him, but it took me hours to beat him on my first time.

i wish more people (especially BG3/dragon age players) would get into older CRPGs. I genuinely think the limited graphics and systems actually make you more inventive and creative in your own roleplay

The beautiful thing about DA2 being 15 years old is that I can kind of just make up whatever lore I want about Kirkwall because there is almost no way anything will ever contradict me at this point

Not to mention it was their capital where the vast majority of their civilization was based. Not every Nelf was there, but a lot were and all of them were affected.

It was a civillian area first and a religious space second, its military application was defensive at best as the Night Elves only ever wage defensive wars. Not to mention, by destroying it Sylvanas was effectively trying to kill all the Night Elves.
