It was a civillian area first and a religious space second, its military application was defensive at best as the Night Elves only ever wage defensive wars.
Not to mention, by destroying it Sylvanas was effectively trying to kill all the Night Elves.

Since they're making Night Elves mention that situation™ every other day, if there's ever a notable Vulpera character (doubt), they'd have to mention the Alliance burning down their homes/caravans as well.

@FrostTheWizard @Eldenrune_ The blood elves would still be more biased towards others elves because they didnt really want to join horde tbh. so elves are relatives regardless. they joined horde because they had to. not because they bonded or actually liked goblins, trolls, etc.

We don't kill the Belfs in MT because we are the ones invading their place to steal for Umbric. They're just librarians and scholars on the clock for their day job.

This, and what feels like a majority Alliance expansion even in Silvermoon, (but I think thats the story they are trying to tell that the Alliance acting in charge in SILVERMOON is a problem) is my downside of this expansion, and the fact that we do not see Dark Rangers @Warcraft

I think I need to put down some honest thoughts. We're entering the most toxic era of WoW. While there were disagreements in the past, there were some gathering points.
Now, we're all at each others throats, majority of people arent happy with the story, and the dev disconnect.

@that_kind_oforc They really need 1-2 people on the narrative/story team who’s job it is to check for inconsistencies and weirdness like this. A lot of WOW is compartmentalised where even teams working on the same story/raid/zone dont talk to each other.

(Minus the one aura farming scene)
The approach to their history and their peoples is so black and white different.

It’s not about the player base vs Blizzard, it’s more about the combating the Alliance favoritism. It’s an Alliance and writing problem.

@Typerighting I would argue that Netherstorm is an example of good intentions. Since the manaforges were set up so that he could start harvesting magical energy for his people.
Also Rommath brought in fel crystals as a temporary measure for feeding under Kaela’s orders.
