@DogMatixxxx Poor and incredibly empty, I have no idea where the 400 million people are hiding. Looks more like half that is the real number, and dwindling.

My takeaway driving from Florida to North Dakota is the United States of America is filled with poor people. The wealth, the heart has been stolen. The uniqueness of culture has been replaced with fast food and Walmart. I knew all of this. But wow. A stark reminder. 😞

@DavidColetto No one wants to say it. But this is the only way to make housing more affordable for the next generation. Boomers are still hoping to cash out. Millennials and Gen Z can wait them out. Gen X...don't worry, we are still screwed.

@TorontoStar Wasnt long ago $350,000 was too much for those houses that were all nowhere near the GTA jobs. If you want to live on the 401 or 400 in a twice-daily traffic jam, go ahead.

Get the facts. The number of new students and workers arriving in Canada continued to decline in February. 2,135 new students arrived that month, which is a drop of 48% compared to February 2025, and 77% compared to February 2024. The arrival of about 10,375 new workers in February is a drop of 28% compared to February 2025, and 76% compared to February 2024. See the data: bit.ly/4lHRG4M

This guy wants savings programs reduced. But only for young people. We can't hurt Boomers: "But be warned: any prospective changes must preserve existing benefits. There's no question of changing anything for current retirees."

If this is legal in Canada, is an organization allowed to post jobs open only to straight white men to? If one organization can exclude them, does that mean it’s ok for other organizations to exclude everyone else? Or are human rights in Canada now for everyone other than straight white men?

Alcohol has basically been socially engineered out of society. After prohibition wa rejected, govs went stealthy. High price setting, sky high taxes, and (especially) ever lower DWI/DUI limits. Basically, gov't raised the costs well above the benefits for all but hardcore devotees, so increasing numbers have stopped drinking.

Alcohol sales are dropping like a rock in Canada and many are wondering why? Is it health, habits or recreational drugs? Canadians are drinking less because we don't have the extra money to party, travel, food delights its basics only!

Consider: Canada is rotten almost everywhere. Every government agency dwells in fantasy, every institution a shell of its former self. And yet ... the country still functions better than you'd expect. I'd suggest this is evidence that millions of Canadians are ignoring the orders to be unproductive.
