@WaxMetrix @SmallTCollector Topps website buy? Is the product rough, or the video? Lol
English

Alright y’all… the Squatch is officially on YouTube.
First ever live rip is up.
2026 Series 1 Celebration Box full case… first half live now, second half coming shortly.
Fair warning… it’s rough.
Camera work? Questionable.
Production quality? Let’s call it “authentic.”
Editing? Non-existent.
If you’ve ever wondered what happens when the guy who stares at odds sheets too long actually opens the product… here you go.
Also, because I think it's important- two things you’ll never hear from me:
Smash that like button.
Subscribe for more.
Watch the Squatch. Or don't. We good either way.
Go ahead. Fire it up and flame me accordingly.

@ldubble @WaxMetrix Let’s just hope Topps didn’t do something stupid and wildly flip that script (which, btw, I wouldn’t put past them at all).
English

@ldubble @WaxMetrix Yeah, they’re in Bowman Baseball too. They’re not as prevalent as you might think, though. I’ve never specifically looked at the odds sheet to compare, but I’ve ripped a metric ton of Bowman blasters, and I’d guess like 1.5-2 chrome autos for each paper auto (historically).
English

Today was a big one in the hobby.
Bowman Basketball pre-release. One of the most anticipated drops of the year.
Finest EPL right behind it. Which honestly, I think it’s the better product.
Know how much I got?
Zero.
Hours in queues. Nothing to show for it. And you know what? I’m good.
Getting it or not isn’t changing my life. The Squatch doesn’t need more stuff to find Zen. Topps doesn't sell inner peace.
In the huddle or from the sideline- doesn't matter.
We good.

English

@WaxMetrix *waiting for the odds release
(is what that should say)
English

@WaxMetrix Funny thing is if Bowman Blaster odds are parallel w/ baseball, they’re gonna explode in value once supply dries up. Bowman baseball averages 6-8 autos per blaster case. Would be gigantic for an NBA retail product.
Waiting for them to release so you can tell me what to do lol
English

@SatchelPrice @Shopify @Topps Used to be my biggest gripe with sneakers. Nike’s SNKRS app stinks but at least I don’t have to sit around all day clicking. Hand me my L in 30 seconds or less and move on with it.
English

@BoostSnob @Shopify @Topps The sad part is that this was predictable so the fact that it played out this way suggests they do not care. They did do anti-bot stuff today but this system isn’t set up to fairly distribute under these inventory/demand conditions. Limit 10?? They just don’t care
English

@BoostSnob @Shopify @Topps Terrible experience today all around, I can’t believe I now need to try to time the exact sweet spot window in a drop when the queue will give way to available inventory otherwise I will get queue looped and/or miss entirely
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps I ran the first Nike Twitter RSVP bot. Literally the first. I will never understand why people think they're the only ones LOL
English

A strong argument why every @Topps drop should be EQL moving forward.
Habad Dooley@DooleyHabad
@NEOCards_Comics Bots got it all
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps That's why you have to change the URL as well. Can't preload link.
There's not one single solution that'll do it. You have to use many.
But all of these things would slow down autoscripts.
English

@BoostSnob @RunGoodLife @Topps Not really as the boys are all through the que at exactly 12:00. So once that solver pops you're not necessarily at a disadvantage
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps I'm sure they're more sophisticated now than they were nearly a decade ago, but there's no way they're 100% accurate with answers. And there are plenty of questions you can ask that AI probably can't even find answers to.
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps The engineer absolutely can - manually - but that's already a bottleneck that gives manual users a chance.
English

@BoostSnob @RunGoodLife @Topps Yes they can and if they can't, the bots open the browser window and you enter it yourself. Both work
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps The first Union Jordan 1 drop from 2018 had zero bot success. They were almost universally shut out.
English

@BoostSnob @RunGoodLife @Topps Sneaker sites tried that...valor absolutely ate it up. We took every single pair in a union drop.
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps New AI scripts may be able to answer questions accurately on their own -- which wasn't a thing even 5 years ago -- but majority probably aren't sophisticated enough to do it. It would require the engineer to jump in manually to assist and at that point manual users can beat them.
English

@premiercards_2 @RunGoodLife @Topps It's not necessarily that they're better; they're just more dedicated. They care more to have success than retailers do to stop them. On some level it makes sense. But it's literally as easy as changing the URL at drop and adding a question.
