@j_bambrick This is such a terrible strategy. A single push up every 2 minutes for 9 hours straight is such a disruption to my life. Way worse than knocking out a few sets of 50

Not even a challenge. Do a single push-up every 2 minutes. No sets of ten, not even five. Stay a million miles way from failure. Just a single push-up every 2 minutes.
Nine hours a day of this, and you’ll make a million a year.
You don’t even need to base your life around it. You can do a couple of hours in the morning and a few in the evening, or have longer days and free days.
Eventually you’ll be able to do pushups in public without embarrassment, and you’ll just go about business as usual making insane amounts of random internet question money.

These are custom engineered rf, mechanical, amd environmental products that require at least a rough system level understanding to design right. Very few opportunities for "off the shelf." I have questions and I need them answered if im going to help you.

For all the complaints about suppliers being slow to respond and quote a pretty good portion of potential customers takes days or even weeks to respond to my initial questions after they send in an rfq. In many cases I respond within a few hours.

California doomers want it to be real so we destroy ourselves, so don’t publicize this.
SEIU and allies don’t want to give up leverage.
Moderates don’t want a revised, constitutional approach on the ballot.

So his tax is 5% * his 25.3% voting ownership = 1.27% of the value of GOOG. >1.27% taxes / 3% ownership looks like a 42.2% wealth tax, but that's not quite right. >He has to pay the wealth tax with after-tax cash proceeds. So he needs to sell enough stock to cover 37.1% in taxes first (23.8% federal and 13.3% state). >His gross stock sale has to be 2.01% of GOOG to cover the wealth tax + federal and state taxes. >His wealth tax bill is thus 67% of his net worth (2.01%/3%) >This for 2026. There are proposals being drafted for a 2028 wealth tax. (I understand that some people see this as a feature)

So the reality is buyers just take instructions. They will mostly be automated away over 5-10 years. The occasional good one can be a good negotiator for large volume materials, that's about it.
Buyers do not really make decisions. They are not technical. They dont know the roadmap. They don't know what projects are being worked on. They don't know what projects will be worked on in the future.
When's the last time one of your customers made a site visit and brought a buyer? They don't do it, because it would be a useless body. They arent supply chain specialists. They arent strategic planners.
In short, buyers are 100% in the dark. Unless you are selling a commodity item that is very fungible and extremely easy to communicate its fungibility, marketing or selling to buyers is 100% a waste of time.
Engineers and PMs make decisions. Sell to them.

@BuildBoost Yea the one eVTOL company I was able to get through to, I started talking to an engineer. He’s dope.
But then the buyers sent me an RFQ for an injection molded part, and I’m a machine shop

To be more clear: when one naively goes out and buy "pcb milling tools" thats just what comes up and what basically everyone (EEs) use for the job. Theyre frequently called bits bc they dont know better.
Most people doing pcb milling have no real machining experience and dont know what they dont know

There is a very real and unbridgeable divide in this country. I have experienced it first hand.
I have hob nobbed with the most Libbed out Libs at happy hours and ball rooms in DC, and I have attended get togethers around bonfires in deep red rural Virginia.
One group wants to be left alone, and one group, in a very real sense not an abstract one, wants the other eliminated.
I’m pro doing whatever we can to secure our safety for as long as we have to.

Well first off you need 4MW of solar panels plus battery storage, assuming youre running ops outside of peak solar availability, so youve already blown the gas turbine budget.
Oh and also you need at least 20 acres of land for the solar farm vs < 1/10th acre for the turbine

That's nice, but a 1MW Gas Turbine costs $3m and needs fuel. 1MW of Solar Panels costs $0.8m and doesn't need fuel. Why would you want something 4x more expensive that also needs fuel?

Having designed and manufactured a ton of antennas it became obvious very quickly that a lot of antenna Co's either dont understand what theyre doing or, more likely, know their customers dont understand what theyre doing

Investing in better antennas is often easier (and cheaper) than investing in Amplifiers... That's why I always run barefoot 100W max. 73
