The Eddie Howe Out crew is failing to understand that the standard they are using to judge him is the standard that he himself set. He didn’t step into a club already qualifying for the CL and making cup finals. He’s worked miracles and got the club to a place we could only dream of. We all agree this season has been a disappointment, but to sack a manager capable of achieving what he has would be foolish after one bad season. He has earned the opportunity to turn things around. #NUFC

Saying that a man who’s spent £750m building a squad, and has had full autonomy over incoming and outgoing players.. deserves a chance to rebuild said squad, is a very amusing concept.

@GeordiePaul81 I’ve defended him for so long but he’s picking the players. Murphy was as bad as I’ve seen him, but he leaves him on. I’m not a huge fan of Elanga, but there’s no way he could be worse.

My last post defending Eddie stirrer up some opinions… My issue is more with the players. It’s not the way he is setting them up, it’s their careless giving the ball away so fucking often, that’s what’s pissing me off

I can’t believe what I’m reading right now on here, but it is social media so I guess it’s expected. Our greatest ever manager hounded out by fans. The man won us our first domestic trophy in 70 YEARS! That’s a whole old person! He deserves a chance to put things right.

Every time Newcastle lose a game which is a regular occurrence, I look back at their fans who were adamant a top class professional footballer should want to sign for them above Manchester United. All because we’d had a bad year and they’d won a league cup. Unrivalled delusion.
