That Anthony Gordon performance is why many Newcastle fans weren't too bothered about him leaving this summer. Games against low blocks and deep defences or lesser sides, he doesn't show up. Everything he tried tonight went wrong because he didn't have the space that makes him so effective, time for Rashford to start. #NUFC

It's probably stating the obvious but Djed Spence, Noni Madueke, Anthony Gordon, Reece James and Ezri Konsa are all very good footballers. But if that's 5 of your starting XI you probably aren't going to win the World Cup.
