@minijay @TLRailUK This sort of recovery situation should hopefully be improved as the East Coast Digital Project signalling gets rolled out further (but will take time to reach the whole line)

@TLRailUK What is the need for the slow running trains for most of the way from SVG ➔ FPK? The trespasser was on the track ages ago. Surely the idiot has been taken away now. Why delay paying customers even more? There is no need for this

@simsie11 @TLRailUK Govt thought them unnecessary when order first agreed. Later agreed to include/fund them + wifi for approx last 50% of units. Adding now would need govt funding and cause disruption by taking units out of service. Might happen at 1st major refurb.

@TLRailUK can you explain why in 2026 you still have selection of trains without any seat table? Seats are uncomfortable at the best of times, but this makes the commute even more annoying! No place for phone, laptop or cuppa! Any plans to rectify?

@TLRailUK hi. How do I claim for a refund where I have been charged twice, once by Thameslink and once by TFL. I was travelling by Sutton common to Highbury and Islington. This was this Saturday. I got charged £10 by TL and £9.90 by TFL. I dont see an option on your site. Ta

@nationalrailenq This is likely to lead to many more passengers waiting to buy their tickets until just before they travel - increasing queues at busy times. Understand the need to prevent fraudulent refunds on used tickets, but not sure this is the best approach.

We’re updating our refund policy for some types of tickets from 1 April 2026. You’ll still be able to claim a refund if your train is delayed or cancelled. But if you simply decide not to travel, refunds will only be available until 23:59 the day before your ticket is valid. Full details: orlo.uk/7mvWE #refundschange

@CreativeHitchin @DaveTandyDrums @GNRailUK Believe once WGC to Hitchin is complete, ECDP then move northwards. At some point will need to do Kings Cross to WGC. Current segment is most complicated, as new for all TOCs / trains except GN 717s. Night work seems more likely to be maintenance.

How many more weekends is the Welwyn line going to be down @GNRailUK? It has been most weekends so far this year!

@mindthedawes Not sure. GN refreshed the parts for which they are responsible - eg tiles on left of fourth photo. However Network Rail haven't done anything to their parts. More complicated at Moorgate / Old Street, as TfL is also responsible for key areas at those.

Essex Road is a time capsule and I absolutely love it. Network south east branding everywhere. All set to change if it becomes part of London Overground… 🟠

No trains at Hatfield that day. Other weekends in March look better, but there is some late night / early morning engineering work through the month - so check before you travel!
Thameslink@TLRailUK

🚧 Major engineering works are taking place between London & Peterborough / Kings Lynn on Sunday, 15 March. ⏰ Journeys are likely to take longer & may involve a replacement bus. Please check before travelling at nationalrail.co.uk. ℹ More info: greatnorthernrail.com/ECDP

@CommitteeHart That's currently the information that we hold that is publicly available, as the changes near implementation I'd image more will be released for the general public too ☺️

@nationalrailenq The current NRCOT doc is available here: nationalrail.co.uk/NRCOT/ but we can't find the one that is referenced in the info as coming in on 1 April. Have seen elsewhere that it will contain other changes too.

@nationalrailenq @nationalrailenq In the linked page it says that this is part of new National Rail Conditions of Travel, which come into effect on 1 April 2026. Where can we find the full new document and details of other changes please?
