Veto the infringement of our first amendment rights! Stop the antisemitism bill that has already passed the Missouri house. It forces teachers to report students who violent the “working” definition of antisemitism being constantly tweaked by an NGO. We also give away our ability to define what that definition is to that NGO.
The current working definition? It includes criticism of the state of Israel, and also includes discussing or suggesting that Israel has overt influence over politics, or any industry.
It’s insane, and shocking it passed the house.

Missouri is moving forward under the strong leadership of Governor Mike Kehoe, who is delivering on the promises he made to the people of this state.
That includes working with the legislature to phase out Missouri’s income tax through HJR 173 & 174, giving voters the opportunity to decide and letting families keep more of what they earn. It means protecting Missouri families and cracking down on crime by supporting and advancing SB 888. And it means standing strong for Missouri by defending the Missouri First Congressional Map, ensuring our state’s elected leaders, not outside activists, determine our representation.
Real leadership means results, and that’s exactly what Missouri is getting.

HERE'S MY TAKE:
𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗦 is the toughest Republican in America, next to Donald Trump himself. Donald Trump needs DeSantis in his administration, and I can't think of a better time than right now as his attorney general!
Ron has done incredibly good work in Florida as the governor, but that job is almost over. We don't want someone with his talent just sitting on the sidelines for the next two years.
Opportunity never knocks at opportune times.
If President Trump offers him the job, I hope that Ron will take it.
If Ron DeSantis becomes Attorney General, Democrats should be very afraid.

DeSantis is at a dead end politically
Can’t run in FL due to term limits and can’t run for president because of his prior opposition to Trump
His only real chance to return to the national spotlight would be an AG appointment that he absolutely crushes

DeSantis played footsie with the lawfare against Trump rather than condemn it. On paper he would be an excellent AG. But this isn't a resume contest. We saw him talk like those cases against Trump might have merit. He's not the right person for the job.

Then again, he’d also be great for the Supreme Court (and Alito and Thomas REALLY need to retire now, pre-midterms).

He doesn’t have the sort of warm baby kisser personality you need to be a successful national politician but he’s very smart and ruthlessly effective.

I have no idea if he would want to be AG, but Ron DeSantis is the country’s most effective and competent politician and actually follows through on priorities to get results

Today I resigned from my position at the U.S. Department of Justice.
I returned to Washington to fully expose the abuses by the FBI and DOJ against J6 defendants, but it became clear that this will only happen from outside of government.
So I left and will do so.

Lee Zeldin would be a great AG choice. But if Trump went outside the cabinet, here are three names I’d seriously consider who would all be excellent: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and two senators who would likely be confirmed with ease: Texas’s Ted Cruz and Utah’s Mike Lee.
