@antlionai If GTA6 is as high quality in both gameplay and writing as GTA5 released thirteen years ago, then that's possible. But given that almost nothing in gaming is as high quality in both gameplay and writing as anything released 13 years ago, I wouldn't count on it.

This game is going to bankrupt Rockstar. It has to sell roughly 13 million copies (at $80/each) just to break even. The rising cost in computer hardware has shrunk the potential market of those who even have the necessary specs to play it, and the writing is probably garbage.

Meanwhile, one YouTuber played an indie game, made a film adaptation along side with the game's creator. Expanded/fleshed out the game's lore in the film rather than making a "reinterpretation" or "put their own spin on it" or "rewrite it to attract non-gamers".

Today has shown just how clueless and brain dead alot of Resident Evil "fans" actually are. It's pathetic that there are people crying about there being snow in the new movie, or complaining about it being an original character and story instead of a 1:1 adaptation. (1/6)

Also people using the “Resident Evil fans complaining about snow” line are being intentionally obtuse. When the director comes out and says “this movie takes place during the events of 2”, which very famously takes place in September, it’s not odd for people to raise questions.
