Yeah so it depends on how honest you are to have the conversation. Control token shifted over 250k away from sellers to holders over the course of a year. If rewarding more of the community with more value than 99% of projects do for holding is "not changing anything" than i dont know what is. Solctrl had huge winners every month we had 5 people get 15k we had one holder with less than 1k in their bag get 15k in rewards ans everyone got rewards. Its also important to take a step back and see these projects demonstrated a different environment where holding was significantly rewarded. But we had many limitations. In order to get the taxes covered you had to use our website to get the extra tokens so those on the dex didnt see or get that benefit unless they went to the site. We also had sells on our charts from converting rewards unless someone used our swap on our site. And dexes limited how much we could set the fees to. Now with our own dex every project will have the ability to cover the fees with supply without having to go to a website and pay out rewards without sell pressure to the charts and most importantly people can push the incentive to hold beyond what anyone has seen with the ability to cover taxes with supply. So if the standard is did we do a 1000x then no we havent done that but many terrible projects have. If the standard is did more of our community win for holding then we succeeded beyond most projects and we are now bringing those solutions to everyone

@kg__sol @Jeremybtc This assumes a lot of things. This is like saying making a 1000 burgers that taste like crap is better than charging more for a few burgers that have higher quality. Output doesnt equal revenue. And like most people feel the quality of projects is more important than the amount

@CryptoControl3 @Jeremybtc Pumpfun is a permissionless launchpad with low barrier to entry. You want to add barriers which would reduce new token creation by 99% meaning 99% reduction in pumps revenue. This doesn't solve the problem, the same ruggers would go to bonkfun, Jup, or any of the 100 launchpads

1 SOL fee to deploy a coin on pumpfun would fix everything

Ah ok. Yeah it does seem like it would help weed out a bunch of scams. We were actually looking at doing a 100$ fee on our platform to launch but we will have the ability to change it. 20$ might be better at first until we get enough attention. I dont think it fixes everything it just helps weed out alot of crap but the projects left still have the same dump incentive as any other project which you know weve been working on for awhile. Have you seen what you can do with lumoria?

@CryptoControl3 If pumpfun would charge everyone who launches a coin 1 sol their would be way less launches on pumpfun because most don't make it past 6k mc.

Well that would only be true if the creators who are willing to pay to make a token dont have higher quality projects compared to all the projects that wont or cant afford it. If pumpfun had bigger launches and longer lasting projects that would be more attractive then having a ton of failures constantly. What draws in more attention? Bigger longer lasting projects that hit high mcs? Or a ton of scams launching every second?
