The Mets announced they have signed Robert Stock to a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training. Stock pitched for the Mets in 2021, starting two games and pitched to a 5.40 ERA. Stock didn't appear at the MLB level between 2022-2024, pitching in AAA, Korea, the Atlantic League and the Mexican League. He appeared in two games for the Red Sox last season, pitching to a 10.13 ERA.

Apparently the answer is 100. Am told Lake Forest native DJ Snelten has a minor league deal with the White Sox after pitching in the Mexican League last year. Last pitched in the majors with the Giants in 2018.

We’re playing the Giants Low A team in 2014, and the radar board is ~6 mph slow so everyone is around 86-89 mph on it. Ray comes in, Ks the side, and the board reads 94-96. We were like hmm, maybe they fixed the gun. Nope, we later found out he was sitting 100-102.🔥

Left-hander D.J. Snelten becomes a part of Angels’ history. He is the Angels’ 1st signing since Shohei Ohtani’s departure, agreeing to a minor league contract. Snelten pitched last season for the Yankees’ AAA team and was in the big leagues in 2018 with SF.
