Found some shirt designs I did at Hollister ~2011. Working there was...... really hard, to say the least. Lots of times where you find out at 4pm that you have to redesign an entire 5 SKU package to show the CEO at 9am the next morning, etc. But I'm EXTREMELY proud of the work we all did. The brand was on top of the world back then, and it was legit the highest quality product anyone has ever made, at any price point. An $80 Abercrombie hoodie from back then is a way, way higher quality product than a $1k Balenciaga hoodie now - no joke. Very, VERY hard place to work. But I'm glad I did it. To this day it's by FAR the most talented design team I've ever seen, and it permanently raised my standards for what "good" looks like.

So many people defending MKBHD lol You people understand that he doesn't even know you guys exist? In all seriousness, 10min for a monitor review is nothing, but: This is not a monitor review. At all. He reads a spec sheet and that's literally it. Everything else is just an opinion of him about this monitor. The fact alone that he just claims that the Studio Display just uses an 11 year old panel says it all. No measurements about color accuracy, latency nothing. He just reads 27", 5K, 60Hz. And that means it's identical to the old iMac one. For an actual review of such a display it would be super important to see how Apples claims hold up, does it reach 2000 nits brightness, what is the sustained full screen brightness, contrast, how well calibrated is the panel and all of Apples reference modes. THOSE are important facts worth knowing if you're in the market for this display that you want to use for your work. Some dude talking about how nice 120Hz is, that the bezels are thicker or how generous Apple is for including the stand are hilariously irrelevant. At 1:45 he says "there is not much to say about the panel itself" which is nothing but is ridiculous. It is literally THE most important part of a monitor review. He LITERALLY just reads of a spec sheet. That is a hands-on at best. Not a review.

I made a planning mistake and it ended up making more sense to go wait at the school to pick up my son 35 minutes early rather than five minutes late like usual. I’ve discovered that a very large number of parents are insane. There was already multiple cars waiting when I arrived and many here 20+ minutes early. Why do this? What are you accomplishing?!

This attempt to sell the "Heritage Library Set" is offensive to any reader and it's obvious that books aren't really Meghan's specialty. (Can you fathom how annoying it would be to get honey or tea spilled all over your book?😤 Also, the candles make me nervous being so close to the wall and underneath a shelf.) This follows the utterly bizarre and nonsensical presentation of five spoons of spread, even though the set she's advertising is a trio, meaning there are just three spreads. 😵‍💫 The set also has two spreads that are red, so which one is the raspberry and which one is the strawberry. No idea and in no way is that appealing to consumers. As ever continues to remain a crime against marketing, business and commonsense. The desperation is also setting in as the wildly overstocked inventory continues to drive constant emails and attempts to "bundle" things as a way to get people to buy merchandise. But the longer Meghan sits on everything without offering steep discounts, the more money she'll lose in the long run. She needs to hire some competent people and listen to them, otherwise Meghan's dreams of billionaire status will die with piles of expired fruit spread and an endless supply of flower sprinkles.
