@edor_possible @SaharaReporters I've not seen a painful treatment aimed at saving a patient because one of the things you avoid is pains for the patient. There's nothing like a painful surgery. Now that aside, in your opinion with state of things for the people today, is Nigeria stabilised? Are Nigerinas happy

Pain does not disappear overnight, but pretending Nigeria was not heading toward economic disaster before these reforms would be dishonest. Tinubu inherited subsidy fraud, forex chaos, rising debt, collapsing investor confidence, and a system built on borrowing to survive. The easy thing was to keep deceiving Nigerians with artificial stability. The hard thing was to take the political hit and attempt structural reforms. Many families are still struggling, and that reality is painful. But stability is not built in one day. Every serious nation that went through major reforms first faced hardship before recovery started showing. The question Nigerians should ask is simple: was the country moving toward collapse or correction? Because sometimes the most painful treatment is the one that saves the patient. 🇳🇬

Just so you know, only 20 states out of 36 states have implemented the minimum wage of 70k per month. Yet fuel is 1350, gas is 2k, bag of rice and basket of tomato is 60k, and CS is 400k.

Fellow Nigerians, Three years ago, on this day, I first addressed you as your President. I pledged courage in leadership, honesty in reform, and commitment to rebuilding the foundations of our economy. The decisions we have taken since have been difficult but necessary. Today, the signs of recovery, resilience, and renewal are visible across our country. In honour of this milestone, and as a precursor to Democracy Day, today, across all six geopolitical zones, over twenty groups of strategic projects in energy, health, enterprise, education, and public works would be commissioned. Under the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund, four flagship projects today. FEMADEC Energy at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri — the first of twenty CNG refuelling stations in our federal universities. Portland Gas at Ojota, Lagos — a 96,000 SCMD CNG mother station, with a daughter station in Kubwa, Abuja. Ibile Oil and Gas, with its network of fifteen CNG refuelling stations across Lagos State. And Rolling Energy at Jahi, Abuja — anchoring a portfolio of seventeen RLNG and LCNG facilities across Kaduna, Kano and Borno. Together, these projects will lower transport costs, expand cleaner energy, and strengthen our energy sovereignty. In the health sector, thirteen new projects today across all six zones — every one of them ribbon-cut on the ground today. Six new facilities at our federal teaching hospitals: the President Bola Tinubu Complex at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja; the Trauma Centre Pharmacy Quality Control Laboratory at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria; the Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology Centre at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi; the new Mental Health Complex at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital; the new Administrative Complex at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu; and the Laboratory Complex at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. Also commissioned are the State Emergency Operations Centres in Kano, Sokoto and Katsina; the newly constructed Lagos Vaccine Hub in Oshodi; and the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System fleet — one hundred and forty-five tricycle ambulances, six boat ambulances, and seventy-nine new ambulances for our federal hospitals. Two revitalised primary health centres at Gadon Kaya in Kano and Aboh in Delta State. These two stand for the almost three thousand primary health centres our administration has revitalised under the IMPACT programme over the last two years, alongside twenty-seven equipped Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care sites, one thousand six hundred and two revitalised Level 1 facilities, and one thousand three hundred and sixty revitalised Level 2 facilities, together bringing quality care closer to ordinary Nigerians in every zone. Alongside these, the new SMEDAN Industrial Development Centre at Ikorodu, Lagos, and additional projects in education and public works being delivered across the country. These projects are not ceremonial symbols. They are evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda is being felt in homes, businesses, schools and hospitals across our federation. Today is the commemoration of our inauguration. It is not a day for long speeches. On June 12, our Democracy Day, we will present our full scorecard to Nigerians. And so, by the authority vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I hereby declare all these projects — across our health system, our energy infrastructure, our enterprise, our education and our public works — duly commissioned, and dedicated to the service of the Nigerian people. The work continues. The reforms continue. And our resolve remains unshaken. Thank you, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. @derealmarlarkey @DanielRegha His option A is different. He mentioned releasing the brake pedal before shifting to park. How do you shift gear from neutral to park without pedal break that serves as clutch

@DanielRegha Team A all day. Putting it in Neutral + handbrake before Park means the brakes hold the weight, not that tiny transmission pin (the parking pawl). Don’t let your friend cook their transmission. A is the way. 🚗💨

Just want to clarify, I was having an argument with someone on how to properly park an automatic vehicle. Which is right? A: While applying your foot break put the car in neutral first, apply the handbrake, release foot break, shift the gear to park, and then turn off the engine. Or B: Switch the gear directly from drive to park while on your foot break, remove then apply hand break, before switching off the car.

This is how Kano voted for President Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of our great party, the APC. What we are witnessing today is nothing short of a mock election ahead of the general election. The massive turnout and overwhelming support displayed by party members clearly show that Kano remains solidly behind the President and the APC. The message from Kano is loud and clear, the journey to victory has already begun.

@Rabbiklo @mohagirei It is a deliberate act as instructed by the govt. They really want to stop that payment! If NARD snooze, they Will lose! Some tertiary institutions are already withdrawing the new salary scale being paid ASUU that was newly approved. This is NARD's own being taken too

NARD POSITION ON THE MAY SALARY DISCREPANCIES Dear Members, As we started receiving our May Salary which commenced this evening, the leadership of NARD wishes to formally notify NARDites of the discrepancies that were recorded in the May salary payment. These inconsistencies arose primarily from significant technical challenges encountered within the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) software during that payroll cycle. The specific issues identified included: 1. Omission of Special Allowance (SA) for Some Members: Some members suffered the loss of their Special Allowance. This critical component of the monthly remuneration was inadvertently omitted by the system, leading to a noticeable shortfall in total take-home pay. 2. Systemic Salary Alterations: There were major, unauthorized alterations to salary figures, which resulted in across-the-board reductions for some members. These fluctuations appeared to be the result of a processing error within the payroll calculation modules. The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) viewed these developments with grave concern. Consequently, the leadership intervened immediately, leading to a reduction in the earlier casualties. NARD leadership therefore advised affected members to obtain and scrutinize their payslips as soon as their salaries were credited to their accounts. This was a vital step in identifying individual peculiarities. All complaints should be lodged with the respective local center leadership for onward forwarding to the NARD Secretariat for immediate action. We extend our sincere gratitude to all members for their patience and cooperation as we work to ensure corrections and seek for the arrears in the June salary. Thank you. @Prestigious_Gt Why do people request for a short stay generally, then refuse to leave as earlier requested? Funny thing is they will not even talk about the protracted stay. Then if the host gently nudges them to leave, they take offense, forgetting the host's kindness to take them in initially

I stopped buying foodstuffs and started eating out when going to work and before heading back home. She spent 2 weeks in my place despite promising to come just for a job interview and requested to stay 2 days She left after 3 days of no foodstuffs again with 5-minute voice notes of insults. What pained her most was that I didn’t touch her throughout her stay. She wanted to give back to the “society” with her obough but I wasn’t interest because someone told me her dad is an herbalist from way back 😂

An average sales girl in Nigeria earns between 25k -30k monthly as a salary in this hard economy, and someone like mercy Johnson who claims she loves and cares for women so dearly is selling menstrual pads for 25k, something that is a necessity for women. At this her age and level, she should have a factory where those pads are being produced to subsidize the price and make it very affordable for women but instead she's taking advantage of the bad government to rip women off . At the end these celebrities you adore don't really care about you, all they care about is themselves and their families.
