Mainstream media thought they were tracking organic sentiment on the right. In reality, it was reacting to manufactured noise. Fuentes is an extremist entertainer with a niche following. But coordinated amplification networks have artificially pushed him into the center of national discourse. I told you they were running the Richard Spencer play. We watched this whole movie in 2016-2018. They ran against Trump's record three times, and lost. Now they want to run against a boogeyman. So instead, they will make him "the face of MAGA". Which is easy to do without Trump atop the ticket. Fuentes, if he is stupid enough to go along with it, will have the biggest year of his career. But... Then the midterms will come. Republicans will get shelled. He will be disavowed by everyone and largely blamed. I don't think Nick is smart enough to know it ends in his career being destroyed a year from now. But that's exactly how this will go if he doesn't pump the brakes and take the longer view, for once.
