@EcomAnonymous @slashapp Yes, funds are defined as the total between your checking and your yield account, not just what is in checking.
English

If you run ads, you’ve probably heard the news:
Meta is banning credit card payments.
Which means no more points/cashback on your largest expense.
That’s millions of dollars in lost profit overnight.
Today, @slashapp changes that.

No, it's not a joke Monthly invoicing will be required beginning April 1, 2026

$168k in skincare sales came from an ad that doesn’t look like skincare marketing
no models
no glossy routines
no before & afters
Just an animated products screaming while bacteria party underneath
it explains the problem in 2 seconds
no voiceover needed
ChatGPT → Object POV
MakeUGC → generate
Scenes → make it talk
UGC cost: $1
Scale: 10× overnight
comment “SKIN” for the breakdown

@mirandpettinger What about the over representation snapchat ads manager has? Shows 3 roas but in theory its actually 0.5
English

I spent a few hours working inside of Snapchat ads manger and AppLovin ads manager today. Not one issue.
I can’t even work through Meta ads manager for 30 seconds without random errors, columns failing to load and having to close my tabs to get the thing to reboot.
How is this ads platform as large as it is 🙃

Say you make 300–350k a month, 15–20% profit. That’s 50–70k net. You’ll always have 30–40k of your cash flow frozen in Shopify Payments, sum here payments to suppliers + ads + operating costs. It’s literally impossible to scale indefinitely when a big part of your net worth sits there. Paying double fees with a private processor is worth it if you can scale aggressively. If it takes Shopify 10x longer to pay you, the lost interest and growth potential over a year easily outweigh the fees of paying a more expensive processor. Next time I use SP will be just for testing or 1–2 day local shipping selling shoes or socks. The amount of people going through this is insane, pretty sure most in here have 20–35% of their net worth held hostage in Shopify balance.
I've literally haven't seen my bank account increase in the last couple months due to this bullshit with payouts and delays.

@Ecom_Matteo clearly never properly dropshipped in denmark. After 1 week you get 80% do_not_honor

@walt_twitwalker @BlakeADriver @GregoryTheAIGuy @0xROAS Thanks for the more detailed answer. This makes sense

@EcomAnonymous @BlakeADriver @GregoryTheAIGuy @0xROAS You need to disclose this is an actor doing a real customer testimonial. The main thing is being honest as to what you are portraying.
English

let me be clear.
in the next 6 months, if you're not using ai to generate ad creatives, your brand will die.
it's not a question of "if," but "when."
your competitors will :
- out-test you
- out-scale you
- bury you with a volume of content you can't compete with
this is digital darwinism.
i just dropped the full ai ugc guide that shows you exactly how to generate ads that don't look like slop.
like + reply 'guide' and i'll dm it to you.

@BlakeADriver @GregoryTheAIGuy @0xROAS If an AI is reading a real review posted by a real customer is it still illegal?
English

Testimonials in ads are regulated to ensure honesty and transparency, primarily by the FTC which prohibits fake or misleading endorsements.
A fake person can't give a testimonial on a product because they've never used it.
Additionally, Effective October 21, 2024, the FTC's Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) explicitly bans the following practices:
Fake or false reviews: Businesses are prohibited from creating, buying, or disseminating testimonials that misrepresent a reviewer's identity or experience, including those generated by AI.

Meta's top-spending brand invested £1.2M last year testing new creatives.
That’s around £100k a month, just on testing.
Sounds insane, but here’s the reality:
That’s what it takes to win on Meta in 2025.
So we’ve built a Meta creative playbook from our learnings and you can download it for free.
Meta’s Andromeda now only cares about how much quality creative you can give it and how fast.
→ It can test 5,000 ads a week
→ It learns in real time
→ It rewards creative variation and iteration
If you're still running 3–5 ads a month and hoping for scale... you're feeding a machine that runs on volume with crumbs.
Introducing "The 2025 Creative Testing Playbook".
What’s inside:
- Testing architectures for Persona, Concept, and Sprint isolation (£15k–£100k+ budgets)
- Modular frameworks to script, shoot, and remix hooks, bodies & CTAs at scale
- 30-day optimisation cadence with KPI guardrails and budget distribution cheatsheets
- Plug-and-play checklists for reviews, setup, and analysis
- The 7 mistakes that silently kill ad accounts (and how to fix each one)
It’s the exact process we use with brands spending 7 and 8 figures a year.
