Let’s not let the disrespectful treatment of our Senator and AG distract from the fact that these proposals - to strip the state Comptroller’s office of its power to fight corruption as well as remove the state police from the AG’s office- are just plain bad for New Jersey. Since I got to Washington, I’ve rarely weighed in on state bills. However, people’s faith in Government is at risk with these proposals. They should be defeated.
