As a third time Trump voter… I can no longer support him for sharing a meme. I’m heartbroken.

The Vatican’s response to the incident was a simple expression of sadness. I had anticipated a more severe critique, especially considering the involvement of drag queens. In retrospect, the Left’s criticism of Trump’s post on Truth Social highlights the imbalance in the critique of equality from religious perspectives or ideals.

Hungary has been tricked just like the people of Virginia were. They think they are getting a moderate when, in fact, it is a globalist who will destroy their country.

I get that the Pope calls for peace, but the context thereof is certainly concerning, of which I disagree. There are many injustices throughout the world, hatred, violence, and death— even war. The central focus of Pope Leo’s statement was directly related to Trump’s illegal war—without any direct reference to Iran’s IRGC crimes against humanity.

I’m going to write something that is my personal observation about an image shared by President Trump that seems to have set so many people off, and in my honest and humble opinion, the backlash is wrong and based on a complete misinterpretation of what the image is representing: The image is not meant to show Trump as Jesus Christ. Not even remotely. Yes it takes heavily from biblical imagery and that is done for effect to make the point, but it important to take the whole image and each part of it to understand what it represents. You have Trump, robed, over a sick man, placing his hand on his head to heal him with light emanating from his hand. This is designed to represent Trump as the person healing America. It has two meanings simultaneously: 1. It shows he is healing America from the sick, broken country the Democrats left. Healing the division. Healing the twisted DEI ideologies. Healing the immigration situation. Healing the broken society. He is surrounded by everyday normal Americans who work to heal America, from a nurse to a soldier to a Christian mother praying and man that seems to be a farmer or typical hardworking man. 2. It represents his second cornerstone of his campaign after MAGA, and that is MAHA. Furthermore, the fireworks represent the upcoming 250th birthday of the United States. You see a large American flag and the Statue of Liberty representing freedom and democracy. The image further represents his vision for America being strong and powerful, with fighter jets and soldiers as angels who protect the land from its enemies both foreign and domestic. The central “angel” isn’t demonic at all. It’s a representation of the Statue of Liberty protecting America as a guardian angel, but also as an angel protecting the free world. Every part of this image is designed to show his love for America and that he is the President who will heal the land. It is designed to be unapologetic and provocative, but not to be offensive. He is in no way claiming he is Jesus Christ, in my opinion. What it says is that America is broken BECAUSE it has forgotten G-d and Jesus, and that true Christianity, not this evil twisted version pushed by the likes of Tucker and Candace and all the propagandists who have been using Christianity to sow division and bring about hate. He posted earlier criticizing the Pope as being anti American and he is saying in this image that America is all about Christianity as its core faith and that to succeed it needs to return to G-d. It’s needs people to go back to real scripture. Not that he needs to be worshipped but that America needs to go back to faith and that the lack of faith is what has led to cults like Islam taking hold of American society and replacing Christianity thus killing America. Throughout history, religious imagery has been used by leaders and kings to make a point. This is a 21st century version of that. Using 21st century AI to create it rather than a Rembrandt to paint it. Islamists have constantly attacked anybody who depicts their cult prophet. Americans claim to be for free speech and freedom of expression, and at the first instance of Trump using his freedom of expression, he is attacked exactly as Islamists would attack. What is that about? The over sensitivity in society to the smallest things is exactly what he is proving by the reaction to this image. The image is meant to evoke emotions and inspire people, and it seems again that an element chooses to rather use it to attack him and make this completely different to what it was meant to be.

Despite my initial uncertainty, as the imagery elicited diverse reactions from both supporters and detractors, I discerned a deeper meaning upon closer examination. The image originated from X a few months ago, garnering over 300 reposts, indicating its widespread circulation. This appears to be a deliberate trolling tactic employed by Trump. The original post was made by Nick Adam on X on February 4, 2026.

Kinda boomer posting but he's not calling himself Jesus. He has been clear all along that he feels he is doing the work God set for him. Jesus' disciples healed the sick in His name. With Christ in us, we can do His work too. People who are outraged just wanna be

@Greg87418005 @stengel In the context of questioning the integrity of elections or voter fraud, it is important to recognize that Donald J. Trump is not the first and only individual to engage in such actions.

For all his authoritarian tendencies, in the end Orban did the right thing: he conceded the election, did not make phony accusations of fraud, and called his opponent to congratulate him. That's the lesson American conservatives should take from Viktor Orban.
