Note that Israel will be happy to stand by and watch as Bedouin tribesmen invade Suwayda and slaughter more Druze people. Israel's goal with the bombardments was never to protect the Druze, only to destabilize Syria further. Something it sadly succeeded in.

Syria: Israeli forces bombing the presidential palace in Damascus. It is basically because of the current Syrian government that Iranian power in the region was broken, yet they're being bombed by the Israelis all the same.
