@CricketopiaCom Now imagine Azhar dropping that catch in the 1990s ...
English

That famous ‘dropped’ catch
'How does it feel to drop the World Cup, Herschell' - Steve Waugh to Gibbs
#OnThisDay in 1999 at Headingley.
Steve Waugh later disowns the comment & said the line was something closer to "That's going to cost your team today, Hersch"
Waugh smashed 120*

A 48-year-old IT engineer, Amit Bramhe, was found dead at his residence in Pune on June 2, in an incident that has drawn attention to workplace stress and employee well-being. @marathiporga0 @ThePuneMirror Aaplyala हिंजवडी mhanaycha asel tar English spelling should be "Hin-jav-di" not "Hinje-wadi" or "Hinja-wadi".
I think many Marathi people also make a mistake in pronunciation because of the "wadi".
English

The famous incident from the 2003 Carlsberg Cup, where Danish midfielder Morten Wieghorst intentionally missed a penalty against Iran.
The referee had awarded the penalty because an Iranian defender caught the ball with his hands inside the box, mistakenly thinking he had heard the half-time whistle.Since the penalty was awarded due to a misunderstanding, Wieghorst consulted his coach and deliberately fired his shot wide as a display of sportsmanship, an act for which he later won an Olympic Committee Fair Play Award.

@Gotya101 @lilantdog1960 @DPrasanthNair I disagree. As I said, Iran has been remarkably reasonable while dealing with years of US sanctions and assassinations.
English

@Gotya101 @lilantdog1960 @DPrasanthNair ? Iran was attacked. I agree that the US should be boycotted.
English

@PunjabResurgent @AmarJit_IFS Anyways, thank you. I wont be replying to you further. Jai Hind 🙏
English

@PunjabResurgent @AmarJit_IFS Have you ever visited an Indian embassy - for work - in any of the GCC countries? Come here then we will talk.
I would have called you a Khalistani for calling me a Pakistani - but I wont ...

All Punjabis are not Sikhs and most Sikhs do not support Khalistani terrorists Anyone who associates with name "Khalistan" should be dissociated from India. Simply remove their PIO / OCI status & ensure that all their properties/ bank accounts in India are frozen/ confiscated

Anecdote: Some time after I joined my new posting station abroad, a person insisted on hosting a dinner at his home for me. After his repeated requests, I accepted the invite. Reached on appointed time and date to see abt 15 people gathered there. Within a few minutes, I realised everyone there came with one or the other complicated consular related issues and there was nothing like welcoming me (some cases were of holding double passports). Obviously, the host wanted to showcase his reach and might by getting me to his house (This is what I usually call Fukrabazi). I didn’t like since I went there with a view to simply meet and greet people at my new place of posting. When it became too difficult for me to tolerate, I silently slipped out of the house and left for home after switching off my phone. Later after several missed calls, I took the host’s call to tell him what he did was unacceptable.
After this incident, I became very cautious in accepting invites.

@FrankFlobs65902 @lilantdog1960 @DPrasanthNair Then Iran and USA should both have been banned in the first place. 😀
English

@Gotya101 @lilantdog1960 @DPrasanthNair Nations commiting crimes are banned from world event, eg Russia.
English

@PunjabResurgent @AmarJit_IFS Yes, highlighting deficiencies and demanding better service and responsiveness from IFS and Embassy staff is a big badtameezi! 🙏

@Gotya101 @AmarJit_IFS Abbe bhagwan ke bande retired bande ki chaplusi karke kya milega. You are only displaying how negative you are.
English

@Gotya101 @AmarJit_IFS Painting everyone with the same brush just as you are doing makes even sincere officers indifferent.
English

@Gotya101 @KingWahisi @DPrasanthNair Iran has been extremely cool-headed during all the years of US sanctions and attacks.
English

@Gotya101 @DPrasanthNair Iran is completely blameless. It was attacked by the US and Israel.
English

@Gotya101 @DPrasanthNair Iran was attacked (has been attacked for years via assassinations etc). They finally defended themselves and need to finish the job so the world can be at peace.
English

@Gotya101 @DPrasanthNair The black & white is the US started a war that has, in your words, put others in a mess. Logically, if the US stopped the war and went home, mess would end.
Whether Iran is a good or bad country has nothing to do with it.
English

@KingWahisi @DPrasanthNair Iran is not some set of angels. The picture is not "black and white". Lots of shades of gray all through.
English

@Gotya101 @DPrasanthNair One side came halfway across the world & attacked the other. I am quite sure if that one side stopped attacking & went back home heads will cool. No need to try and both-side this.
