@victor_bigfield This flips the problem in the right direction. Execution is becoming cheap — insight, taste, and problem selection are the new scarce resources.

@a16z What’s different this time is not just the scale, but the speed — adoption cycles are collapsing, and that changes how defensible advantage gets built.

@marcrandolph This reframes mentorship perfectly. The fastest way to get great help is to become someone who’s easy and rewarding to help.
English

@hthieblot This is so true. The signal is usually in the people still building when nobody is watching — that’s where the real craft, iteration, and resilience get formed.

@agazdecki @metricablecom Churn is the real valuation lever. A 5% churn reduction often beats a 10–15% growth bump because it lifts LTV, retention, and multiple quality — not just revenue.

How does growing total ARR or MRR by 10% affect your valuation?

@ycombinator @koomen @HenrikTaro Love seeing YC engaging directly with European founders — especially in strong technical hubs like KTH. These kinds of conversations are where the next wave of great companies actually starts.
English

YC partner Pete Koomen (@koomen) is visiting KTH this month for an off-the-record talk with @HenrikTaro, KTH alum and CEO of Vesence.
They’ll talk about startups, Stockholm, and how the AI boom is unfolding in Silicon Valley.

@sharran This reframing is underrated. Outputs lag by nature — inputs are the only thing you can actually control in real time. The moment you start tracking inputs, momentum becomes visible again.

@agazdecki Net present value > headline price. Liquidity, certainty, and timing matter more than ego.
English

Founders get fooled by the headline price all the time. "$6M offer" feels like a win until you read the fine print.
$2M earn-out over 3 years or $1M escrow locked for 24 months. That’s not $6M.
That’s a hope and a prayer.
A $5M all-cash deal often beats a “bigger” offer.
Why? Certainty. Cash closes. Earn-outs don’t.
Here's how smart founders actually win deals:
1. Optimize for certainty. A high price with strings is just a maybe. Real leverage comes from buyers with cash and a history of closing clean.
2. Set the anchor early. Share a data-backed valuation range upfront. It filters tourists and forces serious conversations.
3. Be willing to walk. Leverage belongs to the founder who can say no. If terms change late, having backup buyers changes everything.
4. Kill deal heat Emotional founders get squeezed. Calm founders with timelines keep control.
The goal isn’t to sign an LOI. It’s to see the wire hit your account. Better terms often beat a bigger headline number that never fully pays out.

@Codie_Sanchez Long-term impact is always a lagging indicator. The work you do today echoes way further than you can see.

@Google Making the “thinking mode” explicit is smart — it sets the expectation that this is for depth, not just speed.

Gemini 3 Pro in Google Search can help you quickly visualize complex topics, right in AI Mode.
When you select “Thinking with 3 Pro” from the model drop-down menu in AI Mode, Gemini 3 will build a custom response to your question with visual elements so you can quickly get a richer and more helpful understanding of any topic.

@Google Visual explanations inside search is a big unlock — especially for technical or abstract topics. This is where “AI search” actually becomes useful.
