@docamitgs @NDP1001 @nicole_rich8 Beautiul study, May report too, curious about if DAA reduces mortality but has similar recurrent HCC, then would receipt of DAA influence survival outcome of adjuvant/consolidation systemic treatment (if ongoing trials are +)? What’s the HR in usual survival curve/Cox regression?

Great question! 🤔 This is an area where we have limited data re: benefits and cost effectiveness of #HepatitisC treatment. We are not treating patients with active #HCC at our site but have an ongoing study collecting data to inform this question. @NDP1001 @nicole_rich8

I find the sicker treatment-refractory patient tend to be on left and the healthier adjuvant/first-line metastatic patient on the right.

On interpreting #clinicaltrials: When you hear “A HR of __ & a __month diff in PFS,” consider what the control arm is. The interpretation of those #s differs if comparator is placebo/BSC or active control, & if active control, if new drug is an add on or replacement tx. #ASCO19
