Writer Doree Lewak was struck a food delivery worker on an e-bike — going the wrong direction on a one-way street and on the opposite side from the bike lane — on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan in 2019. She was seriously injured and is now calling for Mayor Mamdani to reconsider his decision not to issue criminal summonses to reckless riders.

These bikes, e-bikes , mopeds are all a danger to seniors and the ADA community. Remember the tragedy that happened at a bus stop where a e-bike killed a man getting out of a car.
