The NYC Bike Tour happens every year - the difference this time is that there was very little notice given to the public about it so they could plan accordingly. Feels like more anti-car spite from Mamdani.

This e-moto vehicle is designed for long distances like the 5 boro bike ride He has never rode a real bike in his adult life. He's a lazy cheater. #ImpunityCity Breaking Streets News The LIC pothole has nothing on this double road hazard being neglected by @NYC_DOT There is a massive sinkhole in front of a speed bump that has potholes. Which means when people drive their cars over the bump, their wheels land right on the killer crater, causing expensive damage to their vehicles. (How does a speed bump get potholes???) New York City wants to destroy your cars. This is what's happening on thousands of streets while DOT Commissioner Mike Flynn is trying to force two way bike lanes in Manhattan while calling them "evidence based" "safety improvements and @NYCMayor is having contests to decide which public space complaint should get serviced first

You are misconstruing the data. We have worked closely with Bellevue and H+H to review unreported injuries. Again, nearly all of this data relates to riders hit. It's abhorrent to use victims of crashes to advocate against policies that would help protect them.

This bike ride has been going on for decades but for some reason there was logistics problems this year? Isn't your beloved @NYC_DOT supposed to be responsible for this? Looks like they did no coordination with the NYPD to set up flashing signs warning of closings days before the bikes seized the freeways.

This is wild and unsafe. I love the 5 Boro bike tour - rode in it this morning! - but we have to do more to get the word out to people about traffic disruptions for major events. We had significant challenges last week with 1/2 marathon.

New York’s budget is now over a month late… and what’s Albany focused on? Octopus farming. I’m not kidding. Senate Bill S7421A / Assembly Bill A8043B, which says: “No person shall engage in the aquaculture of any species of octopus… for human consumption.” And: “No business entity shall sell… any octopus… product of aquaculture.” Only problem? There is no octopus farming industry in New York. Not one farm, not one business, not one job. But don’t worry, Albany is on it. While families are dealing with rising costs, crime, and a budget that’s nowhere to be found, lawmakers are busy banning an industry that doesn’t exist. You can’t make this up. At this point, it’s not a government, it’s an asylum. Time to clean house.
