Absolutely. As nurses and doctors we need to find a way to meet our patients needs. Translator line, Google Translator, a picture board. Understanding and meeting patients needs is a priority. While it is impotant to learn the language of the country you move to, it’s not the time to discuss it with the person at the hospital. They are there. They need their medical concerns addressed. And it’s the job of the people caring for them to do so.

Say whatever you want about outcomes, politics, or consequences… but one thing is certain in my eyes: Iran has shown a level of boldness that very few nations would even dare to attempt.
