Not to disparage Hatzalah workers, they’re helping people. But imagine an ambulance core that only responded to Irish or Italian patients, and operated off your tax dollars?

Brooklyn: 16th Avenue & 49th Street, a fatal collision claimed the life of a bicyclist Wednesday afternoon in Borough Park.
Police responded to a 911 call for a vehicle collision at 16th Avenue and 49th Street, within the confines of the @NYPD66Pct. According to the @NYPDnews, a 2021 Mack cement truck, operated by a 68-year-old man, was traveling southbound on 16th Avenue when it struck a 53-year-old male bicyclist who was traveling in the same direction.
@hatzalah EMS transported the victim to @MaimoHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The truck operator remained on scene. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing by the @NYPDHighway District’s Collision Investigation Squad.

I’m a jewish Londoner. I am worried that, if I send my kids to a jewish school or to a synagogue playgroup, they might get killed by a jihadists or attacked by Muslim antisemites. When I lived in a heavily Islamic area of East London I saw swastikas with messages about ‘zios’ drawn on walls on more than one occasion, preachers at local mosques raged against ‘infidels’, and girls from the school down the road (along with hundreds of other ‘Brits’) fled the UK to join ISIS - yes, ISIS - as it was massacring tens of thousands of Yazidis, beheading journalists and bombing infidels.
Down the road from my parents house, Muslim men drove around in a pick up truck flying the Palestine flag and screaming ‘fuck the Jews, rape their daughters’ over loudspeaker.
I always liked growing up in a diverse city, and of course by no means are all Muslims responsible for this stuff. But these are sectarian Islamic problems, of the sort that are in evidence across vast swathes of the Muslim world. They are not ‘enriching’, nor are they something to ‘celebrate.’ In fact they are massively amping up divisions.
You and your colleagues’ efforts to stifle discussion of these, or any related, issues are morally bankrupt, driven either by cowardice or something more sinister.

It's a general tax on drivers, intended specifically to extract as much money as possible while frustrating ordinary people out of their cars entirely.
It's no coincidence that this impossibly low speed limit materialized during a budget crisis.

The Civil Rights Movement as we know it would have died in the cradle without Jewish Americans. Fact: Jews co-founded the NAACP in 1909. Fact: Jewish money kept the lights on (sometimes over 50% of the budget). Fact: Jewish lawyers stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Black lawyers in every major case, from Brown v. Board to the Montgomery Bus Boycott. They didn’t just “help.” They bled, marched, got arrested, and wrote the checks when most white America wanted us both gone. So when I see people online spewing “Jews are the enemy,” I remember who had our back when literally nobody else did. As a Black conservative, I will NEVER forget that debt. I stand with Israel. I stand with the Jewish people. History didn’t stutter, and neither will I. 🇺🇸✡️🖤

New York City, meet the hero cops who apprehended two individuals charged with ISIS-inspired terrorism last week. Our entire city owes these officers a debt of gratitude.
They are a reminder that the safety and security of New York City rests on the judgment and courage of the men and women of the NYPD. On Saturday, March 7, that was on full display.
When two IEDs were ignited in the middle of a crowded protest, these officers didn’t step back. They stepped forward without hesitation and without regard for their own safety.
They acted on instinct and training to protect people they did not know and would likely never meet. Moments like that remind us what policing truly requires.
