Plus que jamais, la République Démocratique du Congo se trouve à la croisée des chemins, en Afrique comme dans le monde. Les minerais indispensables à la transition énergétique mondiale doivent être, pour elle, un facteur de transformation, d’industrialisation et de stabilité — et non une source de conflits ou de prédation. Cette table-ronde s'est clôturée par un échange ouvert avec des officiels américains qui y ont pris part, aux côtés de représentants de grandes multinationales, dont Glencore, Mercuria, Helios Towers, Ivanhoe Mines. La délégation congolaise comprenait notamment M. Daniel Mukoko Samba, vice-Premier ministre, ministre de l’Économie et M. Louis Watum, ministre des Mines.
