With prejudice.
BC cannot afford another day of this destructive government.
Anyone that thinks different should take a walk, because it’s not about us.

No one at BC Ferries will suffer any consequences for the meltdown.
No Minister will be held responsible.
They will continue to happily cash their cheques while delivering net negative value to British Columbians.

I’m at BC Ferries Tsawwassen Terminal.
Both @jarmstrongbc and @jungangela have been here and I wanted to see what’s going on first hand.
It’s absolute mayhem.
It’s easy for CEO Jimenez to say he understands the concerns raised by British Columbians about BC Ferries in an article. He and the BC Ferry Board should be down here with the PEOPLE who are SUFFERING FROM HIS INCOMPETENCE.

David Eby cannot have it both ways.
He cannot push to suspend DRIPA for up to three years while calling anyone who wanted it repealed a fear mongerer. That is not leadership. That is spin.
If DRIPA is broken enough to suspend, critics were not crazy for warning about it.
This is what a government in panic looks like: deny the problem, attack the critics, then admit there is a crisis when it becomes impossible to hide.
British Columbians deserve honesty, not hypocrisy.

The NDP is secretly rewriting its own reconciliation law. We only found out through a leak.
DRIPA is a mess and the courts proved it. So now, the NDP is hiding their mess behind cabinet confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
First Nations leaders found out through a leak.
And homeowners still don't know if their property rights are safe.
This NDP government has failed them both.

British Columbia is going broke under the NDP.
Five credit downgrades in just four years and the NDP still won't change course.
Bond rating agencies are giving this NDP budget the equivalent of an F.
And BC families are the ones paying the price.
A leading global credit rating agency is now forecasting BC's debt will hit $230 billion in just two years, with interest costs surging 68%. Money that should be going to roads, healthcare, and services for British Columbians now just goes to pay for interest on our debt.
It's time for a new plan: one that gets spending under control and builds a province our kids can actually afford to live in.

Another day we learn more, another day the NDP's credibility is less.
Today in the Legislature, Eby maintained that he was not briefed on the Musqueam agreement and that the established channels between the federal and provincial governments weren’t used.
He says that someone in the public service may have spoken with the federal government, but still claims neither he nor the minister were ever notified.
Then he says the lesson here is that government needs to be “more proactive” and that his government has "learned hard lessons".
If that’s the standard of awareness and accountability at the highest level of provincial government, British Columbians have every reason to ask questions.

MLA Brennan Day introduced the Long-Term Care Access and Transparency Act, a bill that would force the government to publicly report the real numbers behind seniors care across B.C.
With long-term care projects delayed, demand rising, and no clear plan to meet the need for thousands of new beds, seniors and their families are stuck waiting in crisis conditions.
This bill is about giving families clear information about a system they should be able to rely on.
Seniors deserve honesty about wait times and a real plan to fix a system that is failing them.
The Long-Term Care Access and Transparency Act is a critical step to get there.

I appreciate everything you did to make today’s packed schedule a complete success.
2. This morning, Mr. Duane Dunstan and his grade 10 social studies class walked from @vichighsd61 to the parliament buildings for a tour, and they stopped in to see me! What an attentive and polite group of students—thank you all for stopping by!

BC’s proposed 2026–28 hunting regulations are open for comment until Feb 16.
These changes affect more than hunting, including motorized access, snowmobiling, and back-country use. Consultation must be meaningful, not procedural.

Thank you to @LDoerkson for organizing this with me. Our hearts are with the families and friends of those killed, our fellow British Columbians in a beloved rural town forever changed, and @LarryNeufeldCon, @NinaKriegerBC and @Dave_Eby, our colleagues who are there with them now. Our gratitude goes out to the first responders—at a time of unimaginable horror, you show us the best of humanity.
