This is one of the reasons why the Armenian diaspora in the West can be dangerous to Armenia. Not because there are no Armenians there who deeply care about and prioritize the interests of the Armenian state, are politically Armenian, etc., but because the vast majority of them are unable to fundamentally comprehend the damage their host countries do to Armenia. The vast majority of the Armenian diaspora in, for example, France, can't comprehend that their host country, France, uses them (French-Armenians) as a weapon to push its agenda in Armenia (spreading anti-Russian sentiment, subjugating Armenia to Turkish-Azerbaijani influence, backing and funding Pashinyan and Pashinyan-type collaborationists, etc.). Just because many of them have good lives in France or the US, they automatically assume that France or the US also has good intentions toward Armenia. They'll happily post about Aznavour, push and call for more American-Armenian ties, and bring in and spread dangerous elements that are deadly for a frail state like Armenia. So Western states use Armenian communities in their countries as a kind of "candy wrapper", but the "candy" itself is absolutely rotten to the core.

Armenia is reshaping transportation in the region. It’s becoming the regional transport hub. Wizz Air is adding more flights from Armenia to European countries. Starting in October, passengers will be able to fly from Yerevan to Eindhoven, Netherlands. In February 2027, flights from Yerevan will be added to Brussels, Belgium. The airline is also increasing its dedicated fleet size in Armenia from two permanent planes to three. This will allow for far more weekly flights to more European and Central Asian countries in the future. Wizz Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ian Malin, announced “…Today’s good news is that our fleet in Armenia will grow from two planes to three. With this, we are opening two new routes—Eindhoven and Brussels. Flights to Eindhoven will operate three times a week starting in October, and flights to Brussels, also three times a week, starting in February.”
